Marquis Smith of the Oakland Raiders was kind enough to visit with the coaches and players of the Yonkers High School Football Team. We were all very attentive as he spoke about numerous topics involving the game of football. He touched on nutrition and weight training and spoke about how important it is to be fundamentally sound and always play with great technique. Marquis shared his thoughts on how crucial it is to listen to your coaches. He also expressed his view on how football should be played from a defensive perspective. Marquis reminded the players on taking their school work very seriously and staying away from bad influences. It was an awesome way to end our practice. THANK YOU MARQUIS SMITH!
